Premium Nutrition for Mature Horses
PRIMEGLO, #81578AAA24, is the first of its
kind, an ultra-premium, pelleted horse feed formulated to meet
the needs of typical trail and light performance horses without
overdoing the calories and without the need for additional
nutritional supplements.
The average horse owner feeds 4.5 nutritional supplements, which
is very expensive and ultimately results in un-balanced rations.
With correctly balanced rations, there should be no need for
supplements for coat, hoof quality or digestive support. None of
these are necessary when feeding PRIMEGLO according to feeding
recommendations.
PRIMEGLO is a 2x concentrated feed formulated for a 2-4 lb#
feeding rate for typical horses (900-1,200 lb#). This feeding
rate results in a feed with one-half or less the calories of
typical horse feeds. This also lowers the cost per horse daily,
resulting in a more economical total feeding program.
PRIMEGLO contains ADM proprietary ingredients specifically
blended with the best feed ingredients for overall health,
optimal digestion, shiny coats, strong hooves and bloom.
PRIMEGLO comes in 5/16 inch pellets that are easy for horses to
pick up if dropped, resulting in less waste. PRIMEGLO has a base
of alfalfa (known to help prevent ulcers) and soybean hulls and
contains HEALTHY GLOTM and StaySTRONG® Metabolic Mineral Pellets
with ZinPro®* 4-Plex organic trace minerals, direct-fed
microbials, CitriStimTM and Prosponse® brewer's dried yeast.
PRIMEGLO contains 8% fat from stabilized rice bran, Omega Flax®
and Soy Shine®. PRIMEGLO is available in 50# poly bags.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FEEDING
PRIMEGLO Horse Feed is a premium, pelleted 2x
concentrated feed for mature horses. Feed 2-4 pounds per day to
an average sized horse (900-1,200 pounds), as specified in the
table below with good-quality forage, which is free of dust and
mold. Provide fresh, clean water and a GROSTRONG Minerals for
Horses product according to feeding recommendations.

Adjustments to feed intake should be based on body
weight, condition and activity of the horse and forage quality
and availability. Do NOT exceed feeding recommendations. If more
energy is needed in the total ration, we recommend adding a
HEALTHY GLOTM product or MOORGLO® Limited Starch Supplement
according to product feeding recommendations. Any feed changes
should be made gradually over a 7-10 day period. Changes in rate
of feeding should not exceed 1 pound per horse daily. PRIMEGLO
Horse Pellet is an excellent feed for use in broodmare and

* A GROSTRONG Minerals for Horses product should be fed
according to product feeding recommendations or provided free
choice in granular, block or QuadBLOCK® form.
** FORAGE FIRST Alfalfa or Timothy/Alfalfa Cubes can be used as
a good-quality hay source at the rate of 85-90% of the amount
suggested for long-stemmed hay (for example, 11-17 pounds daily
for a 1,000 lb horse). The cubes can be soaked for horses that
have trouble chewing long-stemmed hay. ***
Horses in moderate or heavy work may also require extra energy
from HEALTHY GLO Stabilized rice bran/Omega FlaxTM supplements
or MOORGLO Limited Starch Supplement in addition to the
PRIMEGLO.

CAUTION: Consumption of this product by sheep and goats may
result in copper toxicity. Follow label directions. Feeding
added selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet
is prohibited.
